Definition

globalizationDefinitionName for the process of increasing the connectivity and interdependence of the world's markets and businesses. This process has speeded up dramatically in the last two decades as technological advances make it easier for people to travel, communicate, and do business internationally. Two major recent driving forces are advances in telecommunications infrastructure and the rise of the internet. In general, as economies become more connected to other economies, they have increased opportunity but also increased competition. Thus, as globalization becomes a more and more common feature of world economics, powerful pro-globalization and anti-globalization lobbies have arisen. The pro-globalization lobby argues that globalization brings about much increased opportunities for almost everyone, and increased competition is a good thing since it makes agents of production more efficient. The two most prominent pro-globalization organizations are the World Trade Organization and the World Economic Forum. The World Trade Organization is a pan-governmental entity (which currently has 144 members) that was set up to formulate a set of rules to govern global trade and capital flows through the process of member consensus, and to supervise their member countries to ensure that the rules are being followed. The World Economic Forum, a private foundation, does not have decision-making power but enjoys a great deal of importance

since it has been effective as a powerful networking forum for many of the world's business, government and not-profit leaders. The anti-globalization group argues that certain groups of people who are deprived in terms of resources are not currently capable of functioning within the increased competitive pressure that will be brought about by allowing their economies to be more connected to the rest of the world. Important anti-globalization organizations include environmental groups like Friends of the Earth and Greenpeace; international aid organizations like Oxfam; third world government organizations like the G77; business organizations and trade unions whose competitiveness is threatened by globalization like the U.S. textiles and European farm lobby, as well as the Australian and U.S. trade union movements (WWW.INVESTOR WORDS’ . FOR ME , MY OWNSELF , I BELIEVE THAT MAN HAD INVENTED TECHNOLOGY TO MAKE THEIRSELVES BECAME EASIER. THE INCREASING OF TECHNOLOGY EFFECTED MANY PARTS OF HUMAN SIDES. THUS, FOLLOWED WITH MANY MATTER.
IN CASE OF THAT WE’VE GOT TOBE MORE WISELY WITHIN IT.

INTERNATIONAL NIGHT

Talking about the International Night event. It was held a few days ago , August 28th 2008 exactly. What a nice experience i've got from this occasion despite the fact that i became an actor also in podium to representing both the bush dance and the waltzing dance.

International night has lots of benefits for me about knowing other foreign customs and tradiitions from many country. Besides we never visits there ; only knew it from books ; But yesterday we might know it empirically.

As a new student and a new comer in Pusdiklat Bahasa Dephan ; i couldn't imagine what kind The International Night will be. I, My self was involve to representing the traditional dance ( Bush Dance ) and Waltzing Mathilda's dancing ( Creative dance ). My mentor thought me to learn that dance. Not only My Mentor but also My Lecture, Captain Steward was encouraging us. Furthermore, We did it well on the podium.

Finally, we won as first pride for the best performance.!!

We're an eager - beaver .

If we were going at a flash back at the first time, there are so many trial and error we have.

Considering by time we had is so limited.

But we did it.

During waiting for the performance, we were allow to taste or having dinner with the suicine and dishes those are already served by each stands. Each stand having it's kind of food ; something which is different between one and another. We could taste any food from any stand but it depends after the jury already giving a point to each stands.

I hope, this annually event is a kind of good tradition. Have to be pretend and never skip it.

My correction only one, it is about the standard of security. I' ve found the weaknesses in it. Because we are inviting foreign staff embassy means we brought our own country flags.

........ALTERNATIVE ENERGY.......

The alternative energy resources; nowaday is really being hunted by our scientist. Furthermore, hundreds of experiments are being done to overcome the extinction of fuel energy. The fuel energy have been explored by men for centuries and used up particularly in supporting the transportation. It's Irreversible. The alternative energy resources that most scientist are really being hunted not only usefull but also safe to our environment. So that's why , besides could produce a huge alternative energy the scientist have to invent also safety energy to our environment.
Moreover, the using of fuel energy exhausted bad pollutant such as CO, CO2, NO2,NO3 sulfuric gases and many others to our own world.
For me, myself, I'm very interested about the developing the solar energy.
Solar energy is more safety better than the fuel energy or nuclear energy. In spite of that, this alternative energy meanwhile considered on the entity of the sun could radiate his ray. So that's why surface land it's a compulsory thing.

1. Add some more about solar energy ?
2. Any refferences about solar energy ?
3. Do you have any example near by you (place where do you work/live ) ?
4. Is there any community for the solar energy society ?
5. Do you know the other alternative energy which is OK to our motto "SAVE OUR OWN WORLD FROM THE ICE MELTING "
